The short version
CAUGHT IT.LIVEis a free, independently-run project for logging the gigs you’ve been to and the songs you caught live. Be reasonable, don’t abuse it, and we’ll do our best to keep it running.
The service
- The core features — logging gigs, viewing your binder — are free and always will be.
- We’re a small, independently-run project, not a company with an SLA. We do our best to keep the site up, but we don’t guarantee uptime, and features may change or be removed as the project evolves.
- Gig and setlist data comes from setlist.fm via their public API, and music metadata from Spotify — we don’t control the accuracy of that data.
Your account
- You need an account (email, Google, or GitHub sign-in) to log gigs.
- You’re responsible for keeping your sign-in secure.
- One account per person — don’t create accounts to impersonate someone else or scrape data at scale.
Your content
What you log is yours. If you make your binder public, you’re choosing to share your display name and binder contents at a shareable link. Don’t use CAUGHT IT.LIVE to upload or associate anything illegal, harassing, or infringing.
Acceptable use
Don’t:
- Attempt to scrape, rate-limit-bypass, or abuse the API endpoints beyond normal use.
- Attempt to access another user’s private data.
- Use the service to harass another user via display names, shared binders, or any other feature.
We can suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.
No warranty
The service is provided “as is”. We’re not liable for lost data, downtime, or inaccuracies in third-party gig/music data. Nothing here excludes liability that can’t legally be excluded (e.g. for fraud).
Changes
We may update these terms as the project grows; the date at the top will reflect the latest version.
